At Lighthouse Animal Hospital, we have the ability to send our radiographs (X-rays), bloodwork and cytologic images to board-certified specialists for review and consultation. Our digital radiography extends to dental radiography, providing us with real-time evaluation of dental pathology and oral pathology. We also have access to mobile ultrasonography, allowing our patients to be evaluated in a familiar environment with their own doctor supervision.
In-house Laboratory
Lighthouse Animal Hospital has a full suite of the newest Idexx laboratory machines, allowing the doctors the ability to analyze urine, blood components, organ function and metabolic state quickly and efficiently in the office. Our lab equipment is also supported with 24-7 technical support from Idexx, with access to internal medicine consultation for difficult cases. Both doctors also use a state-of-the-art microscope to further evaluate blood, urine, and cytologic samples.
Complete In-house Pharmacy
Lighthouse Animal Hospital provides a full in-house pharmacy that includes routine oral, topical/dermatological, otic, ophthalmic, and preventative medications, as well as specialty compounded medications for ease of administration.
